    Dr. Greg McGann was the Superintendent and Principal of the Alpha Public School before being named Superintendent of Schools in Rockaway Township. In over thirty years in the field of education, he has spent four years as Superintendent, two and half years as Director of Human Resources, over fourteen years as Elementary Principal, including four years at C.A. Dwyer Elementary School, and over eleven years as a classroom teacher.

    Dr. McGann has served as chairman of mathematics of Blue Ridge Middle School (SC), was named Teacher of the Year, spent two years on the Executive Board of the Greenville County (SC) Teachers of Mathematics, nominated for a Principal of the Year award, and was a member of the Executive Committee of the Warren County Association of School Administrators. He has been the recipient of two Exxon Mobil school grants and the Geraldine Dodge Principal Fellowship Grant. He was also a teaching participant in a 12 Schools Project pilot grant in South Carolina.
    Being driven to invest in others in the field of education, Dr. McGann has facilitated teacher orientation and training programs, led administrator study groups, participated in Student Teacher Interview Seminars at Rider University and Moravian College, and is currently a mentor in the New Jersey Leaders 2 Leaders program working with aspiring administrators.

    Dr. McGann received a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Elementary Education from Rutgers University, a Master of Arts degree in Elementary Administration from Furman University, and a Doctorate of Education in Educational Leadership from Nova Southeastern University.
