Our dedicated staff is committed to meeting student learning needs as we believe that all students can grow, develop, and succeed. The Katharine D. Malone School embraces a culture of high expectations for students and staff performance. It is a culture where both students and staff members feel valued and important and where their accomplishments are both recognized and celebrated.
Dear KDM Families,
November is the month that we focus on the character trait of Citizenship. At KDM, we will start the month with a presentation to the students about Citizenship and what it means to be a good citizen of KDM and our country. We will celebrate our veterans at our Veteran’s Day Ceremony. So many of the staff in the building have helped to create the ceremony and make it a success. I am truly grateful for their support in this important ceremony.
We are also grateful for the wonderful connection between the KDM school and the community. It is so wonderful to see the involvement of parents in the education of their children. This month brings us to Parent Teacher Conferences, which is a valuable time to discuss the progress that your students are making in the classroom. This is also a time to discuss any concerns you may have with your child’s teacher.
I am thankful to each of you for entrusting your children to KDM each day. I would like to take this opportunity to wish each of you a very Happy Thanksgiving! I hope you are able to take the time to enjoy with your family and friends.
