A Time to Be Thankful!
November is one of my favorite months of the year, aside from the summer months down the shore! The temperature is finally where it is cold in the morning and beautiful during the day. The fall colors are in full swing and the holidays are focused on family and gratitude and caring are upon us. We have much to be grateful for here with our Dwyer Family. We have a wonderful caring staff from our custodian, our Paraprofessionals, our office staff, to all of our teachers. I am grateful every day for the opportunity to work with all of them and I know your children are in good hands with them. We have supportive parents and community, with a giving and engaged PTA at the forefront, to which we all say thank you for all that you do to make Catherine A. Dwyer the highly rated school it is today.
Foremost, we have incredible students, who challenge themselves every day to learn and be engaged as well as challenging us to become better people. They are why we are here every day! We want to invite you to become more connected to The Dwyer Family. Please make sure our office has the correct email for you, which is the one you provided for Genesis. If you don’t, then we want to make sure that you do. For some of you, it may be that your email settings block our messages and for others, it may be that we do not have accurate information. Our website has contact information as well as calendar information that you can use to help plan your year. We try to keep it up to date, as well as, with our Dwyer Happenings and important information throughout the year.
As we are now approaching the winter holidays and the New Year, we will finish the year off with our traditional holiday concert on December 20th at 10 a.m. and 1:45 p.m. Please come join us as our fourth and fifth grade bands will play and our chorus will carry us into the new year with their beautiful voices!
Lastly, remember the importance of taking time out during the holidays to treasure your family and those in your lives that make it truly special! I am always grateful when I think upon our Dwyer Family and the tremendous way in which we support each other and carry on the true meaning of….FAMILY!
